A Convenient Resume Questionnaire

Trying to think of every detail that you should put into your resume can be enough to fry your brain!! fried brain
  • What do employers really want to see? What if I do it wrong?
  • I don't have a lot of impressive Experience or Education to add. Will that count against me?
  • What Headings or categories would be right for my resume?
  • What if I get things out of order; will the Employer think I'm a total dunce and chuck my resume without ever looking at it?
  • I've never heard of an ASCII resume?  What is that, and how do I know if it is right for me?

We understand.  So, to help you get started on the process of gathering the right information for your resume, we have provided a convenient questionnaire.

This questionnaire will help you to gather information before you start writing, with emphasis on all of the major categories, such as

your qualifications
details of your work history
awards or honors received
your education

Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will need to know which of the
three resume types best suits your background and work experience. Choosing the correct one can mean the difference between getting a call-back for an interview, or getting lost in the crowd.

Resume Formats, Fonts, Etc.

Know which fonts work best for building a resume. Choose one that is not too gaudy or flowery, and one that looks good once it has been transferred from computer to computer.
